This case study details the collaboration between Good Work, a public sector organization, and OpenBlend, focusing on enhancing employee wellbeing and performance management. Good Work assists individuals, including those with mental health conditions and disabilities, in finding sustainable employment. The organization aimed to prioritize employee wellbeing and establish a consistent approach to performance tracking, particularly following increased demand during the Covid pandemic. The implementation of OpenBlend involved training sessions and workshops to facilitate effective one-on-one conversations between employees and managers. Key objectives included investing in employee wellbeing, leveraging technology for performance management, and supporting the introduction of Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Eighteen months post-launch, significant improvements were noted, including increased engagement in wellbeing discussions and a structured approach to performance management. The case study highlights the positive impact of OpenBlend on the organization's culture and employee support mechanisms.
