Grant Application Management System Development for NFL Foundation

The project aimed to address inefficiencies in the previous paper-based application process, which involved thousands of applications annually. Orases created a cloud-based system that includes a communications feature for interaction between applicants and staff, tailored grant applications, and a reporting application to track grant usage. The system integrates with the finance department's PeopleSoft modules, allowing for streamlined processing of checks. The engagement began in 2011, and the NFL Foundation has invested over $1 million in this project. Feedback from the NFL Foundation indicates that the system has significantly improved operational efficiency, reduced personnel needs for grant processing, and enhanced synergy between applicants and staff. The project management by Orases has been described as excellent, with regular communication and responsiveness to the NFL Foundation's needs.
