This technical report outlines the modernization of a leading global airline's self-service kiosk platform using AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and MuleSoft. The airline, which operates an extensive network and transports over 140 million passengers annually, faced significant challenges in migrating its legacy kiosk application to a NextGen platform. Key issues included outdated technology, platform compatibility, regional payment integrations, and a lack of documentation. XTIVIA implemented a comprehensive solution that involved advanced payment integration, legacy API modernization, and cross-platform optimization.
